Building Your Demo Reel With Sony's Vegas 6.0 and DVD Architect 3.0
Review, and Demo Reel tips by Timothy Albee
Video Editing and DVD Authoring: Here's why you need to know it.
Alright! So, you've got miles under your belt, your work is looking really good... maybe you've already got big studio experience and are looking to get into a place that's working on projects that excite you more, or maybe you're looking to get hired into a big studio and put your career into high-gear. Maybe you're happy as an independent and want to increase/expand the level of clientele for which you are working.
In all the above cases, (and more,) your biggest challenge is to get those who can hire you to know about what it is you can do for them.
Sometimes it's frustrating that you can have the greatest work/skills in the world, but unless people know about it, it doesn't do much of anyone any good.
So what can you do?
Build the best darn demo-reel you can, and get into the hands of the powers-that-be, in a format that's so professional, they have to have you in for an interview.
